About the Author
You may not know Don Barnhart by name but you should as he performs over 300 day a year on the road and over the last year, Barnhart's film career has really been gaining steam as he stars in the documentary, Finding The Funny with Brad Garret and Louie Anderson and plays a rather disgruntled, road weary and carefree comedian in the upcoming comedy film, Tribute To Fluffy. Don can also be seen playing a psychotic mad man in the new web series Max Justice.

Earlier this year, Barnhart wrapped production on the cannabis comedy Reefer Rendum and is currently in preproduction on the new comedy film, The Freeloader, which he wrote and stars in. The movie will begin shooting in Las Vegas at the end of 2015 and is based on Barnhart's book of the same name. Barnhart's character, a returning Vet, becomes the Robin Hood of the Homeless as he finds his way back into society.

Don is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory and in 2000; Barnhart relocated to Las Vegas and founded The Las Vegas Comedy Institute where he teaches stand up, improv and comedy writing. The LVCI also conducts acting and voice over classes.

Barnhart was selected as one of the celebrity judges in this year's Laughlin Comedy Fest and in 2014 he was one of the featured headline acts alongside Larry The Cable Guy, Dana Carvey, Tim Meadows, MaryEllen Hooper and Felipe Esparza.

Barnhart also joined a star-studded panel of industry heavyweights at the Laughlin Fest and has been featured as the guest speaker at several other prominent comedy festivals across the country with his Business of Comedy and Entertaining The Troops Seminars.

Barnhart's stand up includes part of his DeEvolution of Man Comedy Tour which is as entertaining as it is poignant. Barnhart has been meeting with venues in Las Vegas about becoming a resident headliner to fill in the void left after comedy legends George Wallace and Louie Anderson both wrapped up their shows earlier in the year.

Terry L. Wahls, M.D., is a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City. I love, love, love this new cookbook! I am a bit biased Dr. Wahls is my favorite doctor! Her protocol has given me back life. I suffered with daily symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis and Lyme disease for 9 years. I found the Wahls Protocol 4 years ago and have been symptom free for 3 years, except for one flare when a restaurant accidentally fed me gluten. Her protocol really works! This cookbook is beautiful and so well written. The pudding and fudge recipes are amazing! Getting healthy just got tastier!

Enjoying a green drink from the book! Finally, a paleo related cookbook that has no ingredients I have to avoid! Eggs, eggs, eggs, in all the paleo recipe books and lists I find. Cutting out wheat, dairy and eggs healed my sinus problems. Not one headache since 1976. I was so lucky to find a doctor (California, no big surprise) back then who knew that what I eat or don't eat could heal me. Forward a few years, I could eat a modified amount of the above foods, and avoid headaches. When debilitating vertigo hit, it took me several years and almost becoming disabled, to discover that purely following the food avoidance diet again would also heal my inner ears. Lessons learned. My aha moment was recalling a pediatric ENT doc's mention that kids "grow" into sinus infections instead of ear infections--they are related. Eureka! Try the same diet for the inner ear problem that solved the sinus headaches. By then we lived in Ohio. I chuckled recently that the same Cleveland Clinic where in the 1990's the ENT brushed off my success story of healing vertigo through diet--"I've never seen a peer reviewed article about that"-- now has a functional medicine center in connection with Mark Hyman, MD. Dr. Wahls is really breaking ground in the medical community, and wisely sharing what works before all the science is documented in the way that validates it beyond the individual patients' actual results.Now with this cookbook, I can fix food that isn't boring, & don't have to spend time and money to find egg replacements. I tried Xanthan gum recently and had another attack. Apparently, it's often made from dairy or soy, another added food to avoid.If there is another paleo cookbook out there that has no wheat, dairy or eggs, I'd like to know, by the way.Adding comment after cooking based on the book. I am not using the exact recipes today, but the inspiration is remarkable! Eating mushrooms sautéed in avocado oil, mashed cauliflower, waiting for some natural pork and cabbage to come out of the oven. Watching several of Terry Wahls talks helps reinforce the reasons to make the total switch to this kind of eating. I am so grateful!

I really have enjoyed this cookbook. I have both of Dr. Wahls books. If you have MS, or not these books are a must have. I was diagnosed about thirty years ago with MS. I only wished I was able to have this kind of support and the information. But that was thirty years ago. Ichanged everything in my diet I am feeling better than I have in years. I am stronger and the fog is gone. I guess I am trying toIT Is Never Too Late. 😁

I am overjoyed to have this book in my kitchen at last! The Wahl's Protocol helped save my live, and I sing it's praises to everyone who will listen. Following the protocol is much easier with this cookbook. You can learn how to make pates, fermented foods, grain-free porridge, all kinds smoothies, salads, and skillet meals (which are so easy to make and really minimize kitchen clean up). If you have an autoimmune disease, you need this book. If you just want to know how to incorporate more vegetables into your diet, you need this book. This is actually the best cookbook I've ever read since Joy of Cooking (and I've read a LOT of cookbooks).The binding of The Wahls Protocol Cooking for Life is very strong. It will hold up to a lot of use in the kitchen, but the formatting is so pretty and the pictures so GORGEOUS that I've been copying the recipes down by hand on paper to avoid splattering it with any food. It's a work of art, and every time I read it, I feel so inspired (and hungry)!Thank you, Dr. Wahls!

I am in awe of terry wahls who turned her life around in the midst of a health crisis and became an advocate for others. Her book provides a healthy model with 3 menu levels of food choices for upgrading one's diet to acquire sustained health. It is not hard, especially if one begins in a state of high motivation due to current health challenges. My challenge is Lyme' disease but the diet is appropriate for prevention as well as healing. If she could do it in her debilitated state, so can you. Very inspiring. She was a vegetarian for 20 years but now eats high quality meats and a ketogenic diet high in veggies for the nourishment she needs. She develops economic cooking techniques to save time and money. She avoids dairy, grain, and eggs because these can be allergenic for many people.

I have been dealing with extremely debilitating health issues for years, and so have my husband and children. I tried introducing several different diet plans here, with varying success. Dr. Wahls has created a plan that seems tailor made for our needs--no grains, eggs, or dairy, and very little sweetener or tomatoes. The emphasis of the diet is on veggies, which is great! She does not exclude nuts, beans, or meats, which is also a plus for us. So we can have variety in our diet, without compromising our road to recovery. The cookbook was written with everyday people in mind, not like other cookbooks that seem to focus on people who shop exclusively at Whole Foods, and who also have tons of time and energy to plan and prepare meals. I love that! She goes over the basics, then explains how to be more efficient and thrifty in the kitchen, which is great for a family living on a tight budget! Most of all, these recipes are ones I think my family will actually enjoy. I can even find recipes that please two of my kids who have "food issues", which is awesome! This going to be a cookbook I use all the time!

My 16 month old likes these characters, so I figured we'd add a Mickey book to our library. This book gets dragged out at least 2-3 times a day, and while I didn't really expect her to catch on to the whole seek and find concept, darn it if she didn't, and quickly. She delights in showing us where the "hidden" objects are, and it's helping to build just vocabulary and expand her word association too.It's HUGE compared to her other board books, but she lugs it around without any issues. If your toddler's a Disney fan, don't hesitate. They'll love it.

I have a couple of these "first look and find" books but they are like 4" - 5" tall, which is what I was expecting when I bought this book. I originally bought this book for traveling, like the other ones that I have, but this thing is just waaaaay too huge. I absolutely LOVE how big it is though.

There's things i ask my 2 year old son to point to... That I had no idea that he knew the name of!This is a great book I keep it in the trunk of my car or on the floor under his car seat for easy access on the go!.. the cover is padded and very durable along with the pages as well.. they are easy to turn with his tiny fingers!

The "First Look and Find" series is wonderful for your children. The pages are beautifully illustrated and manages to be full of activity without being to busy. Both of my kids (currently 2 and 4) have enjoyed these books and have been able to actively participate prior to turning a year old.Each book has 7 pages with 6 objects to find. The 8th page has recommendations for other objects to search for on each of the first 7 pages. The creators really did a great job catering to the toddler demographic. In addition to the 6 objects, there are a lot of things (birds, flowers, etc.) filling the page with various colors. You young one will have fun finding the "red flower" or the "blue flower" as you challenge them with color identification.Great books. Pick out you kids favorite characters or just buy them all for variety, they are cheap considering the time your kids will get out of them.

This is a great book to play with your little one. It's definitely not for older kids, but my daughter just started naming objects, colors, and characters when we got this book so it's great to have her point out things in the book. We don't just use the key on the page, I have her find different colors sometimes, or even look for items not in the key. It's not an on their own book, you need to be involved with your child to have them enjoy it. Great learning tool!

These HUGE look and find books are among my 2.5 year old son's favorites right now. He's just learning who Mickey and the characters are so it's great fun for him. I believe he'll enjoy them for a while yet, as he hasn't quite grasped the "plot" yet so there will be more fun things to find in the picture as he understands more.

My 2 year old loves these books. The colors are bright, she loves looking for the items and telling me her favorite characters. Plus it's a board book which is great because this book it's very loved and paper pages don't last long in books that are well loved.

My 1 year old loves her big brothers look and find books, but she’s rough on the paper pages. Wanted to get her a board book version that she can grow in to. Great book for that purpose. Giving 3 star rating because the bottom right corner of the book is in pretty bad shape. All bent and banged up.
